The inWalsall mark.


The wordmark is the heart of the inWalsall identity. Use it at the proportions provided, against a dark background that lets the gold and white read clearly.

Colour

The palette.


inWalsall borrows its core palette from the Walsall Awards family but leans on the gold accent as its primary identity colour, signalling celebration, quality and editorial warmth.

Typography

The typefaces.


inWalsall shares its typography with the Walsall Awards house style, keeping the sister brands visually connected. Both faces are free, web-served and licensed for any use without attribution.

Use for: Magazine titles, feature headlines, pull quotes and decorative numerals.

Weights: Regular 400, Medium 500, SemiBold 600, Bold 700 (plus italics).

Usage

A few simple rules.


Do

  • Always place the wordmark on ink or another dark colour at least as dark as 50% grey.
  • Keep clear space around the logo equal to the height of the lower-case "i".
  • Lead with the gold accent on covers, mastheads, posters and editorial features.
  • Pair inWalsall content with photography that celebrates Walsall’s people and places.
  • Link "inWalsall" or "inWalsall Magazine" back to walsallawards.co.uk/inwalsall-magazine.

Don't

  • Don’t recolour the wordmark, apply gradients or add drop shadows.
  • Don’t place the logo on light, busy or low-contrast backgrounds.
  • Don’t stretch, condense or skew any part of the wordmark.
  • Don’t substitute alternate typefaces in headlines, mastheads or pull quotes.
  • Don’t crop the logo or use only a portion of it as a graphic device.
